Self Pollution Radio was a legendary five-hour pirate radio broadcast organized by Pearl Jam and transmitted from Seattle on January 8th, 1995. Just a month after the release of their chart-topping third album Vitalogy, Pearl Jam performed ten songs as part of the radio program hosted by Eddie Vedder. A rare live set by Pearly Jam. The radio program promoted independent music and radio and opposition to mainstream corporate media. It also included guest appearances by Soundgarden, Mudhoney, The Fastbacks, and The Frogs. This performance remains one of the most beloved live documents among Pearl Jam fans. It marked the live debut of new drummer Jack Irons, a founding member of the Red Hot Chili Peppers. Uniquely mounted and curated with black painted finish frame to accentuate the album cover and smoky plum vinyl, creating a gorgeous piece of history for any Pearl Jam fan.
